Planning a Funeral
Organizing a funeral is stressful and confusing. If no pre-arrangements are in place, many decisions need to be made in a short time. We are here to help you navigate the process.
There’s Been a Death
Hospitals and Personal Care Homes have procedures they must follow before releasing a deceased patient. Release from hospital can take up to 24 hours depending on the circumstances. When the release process is completed, we will arrange transport to our facility, 24/7.

Arranging the Funeral
All of the arrangements for the service and burial are made with the funeral coordinator at the cemetery : purchasing a plot, setting time and location of the service, and meeting with clergy.
Attending a Jewish Funeral
Jewish funerals are often held within a day or two of death, and may be held graveside, at a synagogue or in our chapel.
A typical service includes readings of Psalms, a eulogy given by clergy or family, and the chanting of traditional memorial prayers.
Our Historic Chapel
Our chapel was opened in 1947 as a venue for synagogue services, community concerts, funerals and social events. We have seating for 300+ people.
Cohanim are welcome to view a funeral service on livestream from our adjacent building.
